Forum removed from website!

I removed the forum link from the site menu. The forum is totally messed up by spammers and there seems no way to stop it… The forum still exists, but for the new people arriving, it is the best to know that for now I am reachable via email using the contact page. There are some new features coming soon with one as particular: “Login” possibility on the website with all kind of features!

But until that time, with technical support questions use the contact page and drop me an email. Thanks for bearing with me.

Silent Service 1 + 2 released for the Mac!

Silent Service 1 + 2 is very known old Submarine Simulator game. The cool thing about Silent Service 2 is what I can remember when I played it on my Amiga back in the days, is that it is never the same if you patrol through the pacific! Tons of challenges and good for hundreds and hundreds of game hours. This amazing game and it’s predecessor  is now available for Mac on I found a gameplay video on youtube which should give you an idea of the game. Enjoy!

From the second you take command, you’ll live by the motto FIND ‘EM, CHASE ‘EM, SINK ‘EM, as you follow instruments, charts and your instincts in search of hostile convoys. Is a submerged daylight periscope attack best or do you charge in on the surface at night using only radar bearings to guide you? Do you fire a spread of your precious torpedoes or can you close the range and pick off the enemy with a single torpedo shot? These decisions and many more are yours to make as you take your place among the elite ranks of the Silent Service!

Crossover Advocates Wave!

Crossover Advocates Wave!

I got a IM and email from Crossover that they are totally overwelmed with requests to become and advocate. Those are hundreds a week! They cannot manage the demand. Most of them are just becoming an advocate to use the program freely and do nothing for Crossover. This is not entirely the meaning of becoming an advocate. Because I “Advertise” to become an advocate when you have no money, so you can use the program free of charge, they asked me to delete that sentence (what I did now) to avoid the overwhelming wave of  voluntering “advocates” which do nothing. Does this mean that there is no way to become an advocate anymore? No, there is, but only for the people who are really attending to dedicate time for Crossover. Sorry for the inconvenience.

DROD 1 + 2 + 3 released for the Mac!

Almost nine years ago DROD was released for Windows, and today released all 3 games in one package as well for the Mac. With its 25 sprawling levels with over 350 custom designed rooms, including secret rooms, it will keep you busy for a long while. Check out the trailer below to get introduced to the game.

What happened to Beethro on his first excursion into King Dugan’s Dungeon? Well, mainly it was just the usual dungeon exterminator’s subterranean grind: killing off thousands of roaches, chopping through tar, guzzling mimic potions, and generally ridding the King’s underground chambers of all that should not be there. But also Beethro met an unexpected enemy, created lifelong grudges against him, and learned secrets that would later motivate his journey to Rooted Hold.

M.A.X. for the Mac!

More golden oldies! This Weekend I ran unto some games I owned, so here is another one:  M.A.X.. Your mission: colonize new worlds on distant planets. As the Mission Commander, you and the Mechanized Assault & Exploration (M.A.X.) force under your command are the first ones in. Mining stations, power plants, tactical combat vehicle factories, habitats – it’s up to you to plan and construct them.  This game is still available on and works great using Crossover! The bundle comes with M.A.X. and  M.A.X. 2, unfortunatly M.A.X. 2 isn’t working at the moment. Use the Crosstie on the gamepage to let it automaticly install the game into crossover. Watch the video below to catch up good old times! Enjoy!

At its core, M.A.X. is about resource-gathering, building, and tactical combat. The game offers more than 50 land, sea, and air units, most of which can be upgraded to improve their armor, speed, and range. You can play as one of eight different factions with different advantages for each one. Discover new scenarios, units and more with the sequel – M.A.X. 2. Now both games bundled together!
