The Last Express for the Mac!

Today we have a special adventure game for you. An adventure game which is rated 7th in the top 100 best adventure games of all times! And this game is called: The Last Express! For some of you this may sound “Awesome”! For others, it is: “Never heard of this game”. Either case it might be worthwhile checking this one out. This because it is one of only a few adventure games played in real-time, among AI-controlled characters with their own goals and means with which to achieve them. Besides that it has an incredible playability with many endings thanks to a complex, adaptive storyline. So if you are up for an adventure challenge, then this one will keep you busy for a while. Get it from GOG.com and install it in Crossover and play! Check out the trailer below to catch a glimpse of the game.

Paris, 1914. The world is on the brink of war and this train could push it over the edge. You are Robert Cath, a young American urgently summoned by your old friend Tyler Whitney to join him aboard the Paris-Constantinople express, departing from the Gare de l’Est on July 24th. Arriving late, you discover something has gone terribly wrong. Now you must untangle a complex web of political intrigue, suspense, romance, and betrayal. Every move you make could bring you closer to the truth or your own demise. Bon voyage!

Patrician 2 for the Mac!

Patrician 3 was already ported for a long while! Now the predesessor Patrician 2 Quest for Power is ported as well. The package is still available on GOG.com and includes: Patrician 1 as well, but that one isn’t working properly yet, so for that one we have to wait out some more Wine development. This Strategy game is really cool for the ones who love trade simulators! Some nice features are: A realistic simulation of a complex world comprised of production, transport, trade and consumption, detailed and historically accurate graphics and a mix of genres including trade, economics, sea battles and diplomacy. The game works great using Crossover!

Predecessor to Patrician 3, in the price of just one! Set against the historical backdrop of maritime trade at the time of the Hanseatic League, the Patrician series sees the player take the role of a citizen of a medieval hanseatic town in Northern Europe, between London and Novgorod, with the aim being to rise from the status of an ordinary, unimportant trader to that of a major business tycoon and governor of your hometown. To achieve this goal, the player must gain the respect and recognition of other inhabitants and try to make a profit through maritime trade, the production of goods and the completion of missions. The player can raise his profile by both improving the city and through diplomacy, or by raising money for his treasury by means of piracy and smuggling – but watch out, others want easy money too, so you would do wise to arm your ships!

Tomb Raider 2013 released for the Mac!

A while back when I ported Tomb Raider for the first time, it worked great!  I already told you guys that It wouldn’t be real long before the native version should come out. Well, after almost a year has been past and it is there now :) I see there are 2 versions, one of Feral Interactive and one of  Equinix themself (Steam). The big difference is the price! The feral Interactive one is $49!!!!! While the Gamersgate version (= Steam version) is only $19,99! Thats a $30,- difference! For that money you can almost buy the program Crossover! Besides that, if you already bought the game in the past at Gamersgate = Steam, then the Mac version is available automatically free of charge. So in that case you download the Mac steam and download the game in there and play! Enjoy!
