Website up again!

The Website has been down the whole day because of another outage on Bluehost. I am really disappointed in this hosting server which “should be” the best around. Now I already experienced since I have bin there 2 months, twice a mayor incident. The first caused the site to be offline for 2 days. The second (this one) for over 12 hours. I am really thinking to switch again, this is just unprofessional. I am not the only one complaining about it. Their twitter account is raining complaints.

Anyway meanwhile the site is up again, so sorry for the inconvenience.

Wine 1.7.19 released!

Wine 1.7.19 is released now! The wine version will be build in an engine and will be available in “Winery“. Winery is a program where you can build wrappers with, and is available on the Wineskin website. I used Winery to build all my Wrappers for this website. The Wine engine itself is not available yet in Winery, so we have to wait (Doh123 of Wineskin will do this as soon as he can) on that and then you can download and test it with your games when interested! There is some better Direct2D support and some more important memory issues fixed.  See more details below and on WineHQ. You can change the wine engine in existing Wrappers doing: Rightclick Wrapper –> show packge content –> wineskin –. advanced –> tools –> change engine –> change it to the latest engine you downloaded, in this case 1.7.19.

The Wine development release 1.7.19 is now available.

What’s new in this release:

  • New JSProxy DLL for automatic proxy configuration.
  • More OLE Accessible Object support.
  • Improvements to the XML writer.
  • Fixes for various memory issues found by Valgrind.
  • Initial headers for Direct2D support.
  • Various bug fixes.

CLARC is an isometric, grid-based puzzle game with fast-paced arcade elements. It features comic style visuals in various different graphical themes, from the inside of a chaotic factory to the surface of Mars to the interior of an intruding enemy spaceship where you think, run, and fight through heaps and heaps of carefully designed puzzle and action areas. Our hero, Clarc #37, is a simple, hard-working maintenance robot, living in a decaying nuclear missile factory. Ever since the old supercomputer has disappeared, the rest of the facility has fallen into utter chaos. The discovery that diesel has thrilling effects on robotic circuits lead to a fierce shift in priorities: Every robot has since been focusing on drinking instead of working. Everyone except Clarc. So when a less-than-peaceful spaceship enters the stage to disarm and dismantle this out-of-control doomsday device of a partying factory, Clarc is the one to save the day. He has to overcome his programming to rescue his fellow robots and, of course, his newfound friend, the lovely atomic bomb, Clara.
