Front Mission Evolved for the Mac!

I managed to get the game Front Mission Evolved working quite nicely using the Steambuild1 Wrapper. I played 2 missions with my Nvidia 640M iMac and had no crashes or something. You do need a powerful Mac for this game and 512mb GFX card is a must have to play this game enjoyable. It’s quite a good game and it keeps you playing because of the storyline, and it is only $9,99, so it’s really recommended if you like action games! Check out the trailer below to learn more!

Simply download the Steambuild1 Wrapper and extract it (unzip) and make sure if you have Mavericks OSX you have set the correct security settings otherwise it will say the file is damaged or from an undefined developer. Then login into Steam with your account and get Front Mission Evolved from Gamersgate and use the serial to activate it in Steam. Then it will download the game and then play! Have fun!

The Cat Lady for the Mac!

Not my particular genre, thats why I played only 5 minutes of the game :P, but it worked fine that far, and WineHQ with its users tells me that it works just fine as well. They probably played the whole game already. Anyway, because of many requests, I made the wrapper available and now with The Cat lady on promo, it is wise to get it cheap now while the summer sale on is still running.

Simply download Wrapper below, and extract it, and get the Windows game of The Cat lady on and install it into the Wrapper as the video shows below. Thats it, have fun!

Susan Ashworth, known in her neighbourhood as the crazy Cat Lady, is a lonely 40- year old on the verge of suicide. She has no family, no friends and no hope for a better future. One day she discovers that five strangers will come along and change everything. But those five, “The Parasites”, are also the most ruthless, deranged and cold-blooded bunch of psychopaths the city has ever known. They will stop at nothing to hurt Susan. Unless, she hurts them first…

Wine 1.7.20 is released now!

It took a month because Alexandre was on holidays, but finally it is here: Wine 1.7.20! The wine version will be build in an engine and will be available in “Winery“. Winery is a program where you can build wrappers with, and is available on the Wineskin website. I used Winery to build all my Wrappers for this website. The Wine engine itself is not available yet in Winery, so we have to wait (Doh123 of Wineskin will do this as soon as he can) on that and then you can download and test it with your games when interested! There is some c/c++ improvements/support and some more important memory issues fixed.  See more details below and on WineHQ.

You can change the wine engine in existing Wrappers doing: Right-click Wrapper –> show package content –> wineskin –. advanced –> tools –> change engine –> change it to the latest engine you downloaded, in this case 1.7.20.

The Wine development release 1.7.20 is now available.

What’s new in this release:

  • New JSProxy DLL for automatic proxy configuration.
  • More OLE Accessible Object support.
  • Improvements to the XML writer.
  • Fixes for various memory issues found by Valgrind.
  • Initial headers for Direct2D support.
  • Various bug fixes.

World of Tanks Release 9.1 Video Update!

Here a video of the gameplay on my Nvidia 640M iMac. I mentioned in the Wrapper update already about the gameplay, and here is the video to support it. I played 2 games in the video, and as you may find out the fps is a little bit dependent on the map as well and it also shows that the game doesn’t crash or freeze anymore after a battle on my iMac. So sit back and enjoy the video!

Concursion released for the Mac!

Concursion is a multi-genre game played on the boundaries between games. Steer your hero through a dangerous interdimensional world, switch between different genres on the fly, and pull off feats of tight aerial acrobatics otherwise unattainable in one genre alone. Collect the shards, save the princess and go home. Easy, right? Maybe not, but where’s the fun in easy? Start from where most platformers finish – at the bad guy’s castle. Run, jump, fly, fight and occasionally dance through the kingdom on your quest to unearth the truth behind these rifts, save the princess, and put a stop to Biganbad once and for all.

Some very cool features:

  • Five classic gameplay genres – Explore the worlds of platformer, shooter, hack-n-slash, jetpack and maze racer/puzzlers instantaneously in a seamlessly integrated world.
  • More genres – Experience even more play styles in each unique boss battle.
  • Fusion play – Radically different game mechanics are employed in quickfire succession.
  • Unique worlds – Each world is defined by its own unique art and music, meaning you’ll always know whether you’re in a cartoon, outer space, or even feudal Japan.

World of Tanks Wrapper Update!

World of Tanks 9.1 has been released with again some mayor GFX improvements luckily for us :) It seems that the latest Wrappers which I released last week doesn’t work anymore with the latest update, but the older Wrapper is working fine now again!

I had lots of internet issues at home so it took me 4 hours to get the update done. So sorry I am a bit later then I was planning. So finally at the end I tested the Wrapper on my Nvidia 640M and I was amazed by the speed. I even reached over 100 FPS in sniper mode and between 40-80 FPS average in game.  I was stunned! This because I never got those values on my Nvidia Mac. I don’t know how it is with Intel graphics Macs, but I am expecting same kind of results. I Played about 8 quick test battles. I was dead quite quickly with my bold approach…:P I had chosen some bad tanks to play with as well, because I heard regularly with full hits ” We didn’t even scratched them”, which was quite frustrating to hear!  Anyway, I am glad to announce the best performing WOT Wrapper until now! Have fun!
