Thrillville: Off the Rails for the Mac!

Some great news! As you may know Thrillville: Off the Rails is been re-released a little while back, and I finally got my fingers on the Gamersgate (=steam version) of the game and managed to get it working quite easily.  Thrillville: Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: “WHOA!” But the new fun doesn’t stop there. Off the Rails features 34 playable multiplayer minigames, 15 all-new theme areas, over 40 thrill rides, a new story that ties together more than 100 missions, and social interaction with park guests that’s better than ever.

I made the port available as Crosstie and for the Portingkit. So for the basic instructions for the Portingkit installation go here… and to learn more about Crossover go here…

Space Rangers HD for Mac

Space Rangers HD: A War Apart remasters and expands the world of the classic Space Rangers 2. The game is developed by the SNK-Games team in close cooperation with fans of the series. I tested Space Rangers HD and it works on my Nvidia 640M and played a while without any issues. Below a trailer with some visuals of the game.

Simply download the Portingkit (if you don’t have it already) and go to the library –> server tab and select the “Space Rangers HD ” and click download. If you don’t own the game yet the Portingkit can direct you to the game page where to purchase it and download the setup/download file into your download folder. When you clicked “no” and were directed to the game page, you have to click “download” again and then click “yes” so the Portingkit will install the game for you. After installation the Portingkit will say the installation was done successfully. Then go to your “local” tab where you can select the game and click “play”!

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy for Mac

There is a Place in the Galaxy where legends are born. Welcome to Starfleet Academy. Captain Kirk, Commander Chekov, Captain Sulu. Before they were legends, they were cadets at the most celebrated training facility in the universe – Starfleet Academy. I tested the game for about 15 minutes and all looks to work as far as I tested on my Intel HD 5000 gfx card.

Download the wrapper below –> download the Start Trek Starfleet Academy setup file –> extract the wrapper and doubleclick it –> install windows software –> navigate to the setup file in the download folder and double-click it –> run through the install wizard and (ignore the error messages) click “exit” at the end of the installation. Now run the game by doubleclick the wrapper. Have fun!

The Masterplan released for Mac!

The Masterplan is a tactical squad-based heist game set in 1970’s. The 2D top-down view gives you a great overview of what’s happening at any given moment, allowing you to be a real criminal mastermind. Features hand-drawn 2D graphics and fun group control until someone calls the cops and everything goes haywire. The game is released on GOG.com and 25% off the first week! Check out the trailer below for some visuals.

During the game you’ll need to manage your crew from heist to heist by hiring the right goons, and by making sure they are properly equipped. Of course, keeping the goons alive and getting the biggest loot from each heist is a big part of being a true mastermind.
