Diablo for Mac

On many request! We finally can bring you Diablo for Mac! Diablo 2 was already available in Porting Kit and Crossover, and Diablo 3 is already native for Mac. But now the series is complete! The Game CD/Image is required to be in the drive/mounted in order to play. Diablo works unfortunatly only in Porting Kit for now, but this may change in the next release of Crossover. There are a few side-notes for the game, see below:

– Choose install play (not the other one or the start exe won’t be correct)
– Install the game in “c:” when asked. (or also the start exe won’t be correctly)
– Game menu has some major glitches, but just start the game, and in-game it will be fine.
– Have fun!

(Advertisement) Online casinos is a serious well managed buisness

Online casinos is a serious well managed buisness, and some people still seem to have a hard time with that idea. They seem to think that just because it is fun to go to an online casino that it must also be fun to run an online casino. Many of the people who are involved in the entertainment industry are faced with this bias from the people who have clearly never done anything like that before in their lives. Online casinos is a serious well managed buisness, and running an online casino and making it work is a job just like any other job.

A Story about my Uncle for Mac

Another game has been contributed by Brainzyy: A Story about my Uncle for Mac. The game works very nice in Porting Kit and will be added to Crossover soon as well. I am working to make one component to work in Crossover as we speak and when that works the Cross-tie will be available as well.

A Story about my Uncle is a first person platforming adventure game about a boy who searches for his lost uncle, and ends up in a world he couldn’t imagine existed. Take help of your uncle’s mysterious inventions that let you jump incredibly high and far through beautiful scenery, uncover clues to your uncle’s whereabouts, and meet fantastical creatures that will help you on your journey.

Bus Driver for Mac

I added an very nice free game into Porting Kit + Crossover! The game is called “Bus Driver” and I was very surprised to see it on Because I used to have this “Commercial” game already on the website before it was natively released in the Mac Store (for $3,99).

The game is in my opinion not a just a simple “Bus game”, but has laid the foundation for the Truck Simulator games released nowadays. The producer of the game is no one else then SCS software itself! I and my son played the game that time quite a bit and had lots of fun. Your job is simple, transport passengers around realistic cityscapes and country sides following a planned route according to a timetable and learn the basics of professional driving by obeying traffic rules and taking care of your passengers. Check the trailer below to see the gameplay and see it for yourself why I recommend this free fun game!

KIM for Mac

Today the game Kim has been released native for Mac on Kim is an open world RPG set in colonial India. Play as Rudyard Kipling’s ragamuffin hero, Kim, and roam hand-painted towns and procedurally generated countryside. Learn to survive by fair means or foul, meet characters from history and literature, travel to exotic lands and discover their secrets. Your aim is to live Kim’s youth as best you can, it will not last forever but if at first you don’t succeed, you may retell this classic adventure as often as you wish.

The game has been released and developed by the indie game developer: “The Secret Games Company”. KIM (which really  reminds me to Driftmoon) has some very nice features:

  • History: 1880s India brought to life in an enormous 2D open world
  • Literature: Rudyard Kipling’s dialogue in ‘choose your own adventure’ conversations
  • Survival: Manage Kim’s health and happiness by collecting food and items
  • Action: Simple but satisfying stealth and combat in pause-able real time
  • Music: Original soundtrack from acclaimed composer, Murugan Thiruchelvam

The game is priced $22,29 but is is discounted 10% at $19,99 until 1 November. Check out the trailer below to see the visuals and gameplay of the game.

Mirror Edge for Mac

Finally it’s there: Mirror Edge for mac! This awesome action game of EA Games, makes you a “Runner” on the skyscrapers of the city. The game works great in both Crossover and Porting Kit. Even on my low-end Macbook air the game works very nice when “In-game physics effects” are turned off in the graphical settings. Have fun!

Mirror Edge™ delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous.

The game works great in Crossover, so that program is advised to use. So if you haven’t Crossover yet, then get it up here and buy the program or if you want to test it first, for the 14 days trial.

War Wind II – Human Onslaught for Mac

War Wind II – Human Onslaught is a strategy game as many others on Multi-player makes the game even more interesting. If you like strategy games like Warlords BattleCry 3 (which is also added in Porting Kit and Crossover) then this might be something in your taste.

War Wind II – Human Onslaught offers a great variety of vehicular, mechanised and special units, with intense and exciting maps, and a rich array of options, graphics and sounds, along with a combat model that offers a dynamic balance of play. All this, plus the addition of the human element make War Wind: Human Onslaught a compelling must-play for any real-time strategy fan.

The game works great in Crossover, so that program is advised to use. So if you haven’t Crossover yet, then get it up here and buy the program or if you want to test it first, for the 14 days trial.
