Age of Wonders 4 for Mac
Age of Wonders fans attention please! Age of Wonders 4 for Mac has been added to Porting Kit! Triumph Studios’ award-winning strategy series has emerged into a new age, evolving the game’s iconic empire building, role-playing, and warfare to the next level. A new storytelling event system and hugely customizable empires provide an endlessly repayable experience, where each game adds a new chapter to your ever-growing saga.
About the Port:
I played this game for a bit on my Apple Silicon MacBook pro with Sonoma, and it simply works awesome!!! This port only works for Apple Silicon Macs with Mac OS 14 Sonoma or Higher for now (so not for Intel based Macs)!! We hope the game works soon for Intel based Macs as well using DXVK, but until then (requires some more development), its for Apple Silicon Macs only. I think although the performance in ultra is not awful, playing in Medium Settings is the best experience.
Porting Kit GOG Install Instructions:
– Make Sure you have Porting Kit installed on your Mac
– Make sure you logged in into GOG integration in Porting Kit (GOG account tab -> Login):
– If not: – Make sure you download the “Offline backup setup files” of the game from GOG into your download folder.
– Search the game in “all games” or “GOG Source” database.
– Click “Install” (Then next, next, you know the drill).
– Porting Kit will Install the GOG.com version of Age of Wonders 4
– After install of the port, click exit to finish the installation process.
– Click play to start the game!

Hello!
Really excited to get into this game, followed all the steps, but am experiencing random crashes anywhere between a couple of minutes to 10 minutes in.
I’m hoping to get some help ironing out these problems :D
To confirm:
Using a Mac book Pro
I’ve updated to Sonoma (14.2)
I have M1 Pro chip
Have 16GM memory
Purchased game on GoG
I’ve installed via GoG integration

I am having the same issue.The game crashes in about 5 minutes.
My machine is a macbook pro(Sonoma 14.1.1) with m2 pro chip and 16 ram.I have gog integration but I also tried to install it with offline backups which did not make any difference.
Any new input on this? Game also crashes on my M1 in the first minutes.
