Game Details:

Welcome to the “Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken” for Mac game page. This page contains information + tools how to port this game so you can play it on your Mac just like a normal application.

This game is not available in the Porting Kit yet. Porting Kit is the new application which “ports” the game to your Mac. The video and download links in the slider are outdated and won’t work on OS X 10.11+. Fortunately there is way to fix/update it, install the game with the Porting Kit using this video instruction. Or when you use the Crossover application the Crosstie below (when available).

Important: The game starts windowed. To make it full screen, change resolution lower then the native resolution. Also when quitting to the game menu gives an error message. To avoid that, and if you want to quit the game, then just cmd + alt + esc will bring you back to steam without error message (see also the video).

Game description:
Annihilate an evil penguin regime in this cinematic platform adventure game offering full solo and co-op campaigns. Set out on a mission to assassinate the totalitarian penguin leader as Hardboiled Chicken. Destroy enemies with a slew of weapons and illuminate the secrets to his past while uncovering the real enemies of Albatropolis. Master fowl play in the co-op campaign as a pair of Budgie commandos on a mission to save the general’s daughter. Many lives will be destroyed, countless penguins will die!

Where to buy the Windows game?
As you already may have read, porting is about installing the Windows game into the wrapper in order to play it on your Mac. If you don’t own the game yet, I strongly advise you to buy Rocketbirds Hardboiled Chicken on Gamersgate. I tested that version of the game in the wrapper and that one works for me. Other game versions then the Gamersgate version I have not tested so those cannot be guarenteed that it runs in the wrapper. So my advise to stick to the GamersGate version which you can buy using the link above.
