Anno 1404 History Edition for Mac

Many people waited for this and we are also happy to inform: Anno 1404 History Edition for Mac has been added to Porting Kit. This is a separate port release for the Anno 1404, because Anno 1404 History Edition is also sold separately besides the entire History collection (which is also in Porting Kit but a separate blog post about that follows later) which includes also the rest of the series (Anno 1503, Anno 1602 and Anno 1701). The history collection is only a few $ extra, so I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the whole collection, but for the people who only want Anno 1404 History Edition this separate port can be used.

This Anno 1404 History edition (Ubisoft Connect port) is 64bit and 4K and works out of the box comparing to the 1404 Gold edition of GOG. The game is more smooth and stable (longplay) compared to the 1404 Gold (32bit) version.

Ubisoft Connect instructions:
– Search Anno 1404 History edition in the Porting Kit database.
– Click “install” in Porting kit to install the Ubisoft Connect client
– Then “login” in your Ubisoft Connect account and install Anno 1404 History edition.
