Another Steam update breaks Steam client ports…(Resolved)

Should be resolved.

———-

A quick heads up. I know, I know…not again…. There has been a new Steam update which breaks the client in Wine. You will be able to launch the Steam client itself (in some cases, most cases crash) with an updated GUI (looks nice), but you will find out the games don’t launch (nothing happens when clicking play…at the highest a launcher or something). There is worked on a fix using an updated Wine engine with patches.

So please keep an eye on the blog for updates.  When the new engine arrives (I hope within days), then you will be updated using this post!

  1. Man I just wanted to play some good ol’ games with the lads and this goofy bastard named Gabe Newell screwed it up!

  2. Shall we do anything with it?
I have an AoE2:DE port with Steam, but it’s not working with 5.13.8. Steam client cannot open.
