Battlefield 1942 for Mac OSX
Game Details:
Welcome to the “Battlefield 1942” for Mac game page. This page contains information + tools how to port this game so you can play it it on your Mac just like a normal application. Check also one of the other over 1000 game ports on this website! Check the homepage to search and for latest news! You can port games using Porting Kit (free), or the commercial (more professional software) Crossover or Parallels Desktop (a very easy to use Virtual Machine with Windows 11) both have a 14 day trial period. Feel free to use the application which fits you best or use a combination of the 3 apps
Install/Porting is simple:
1. Get Porting Kit or Crossover if you don’t have it yet.
2. Then in Porting Kit search the game on the library –> server tab and click install.
3. After installation of the EA/Origin App, “exit” the installer.
5. Click “Play” to start the EA App and login and download and play! Have fun!
Alternatively there is also Parallels Desktop (a very easy to use Virtual Machine with Windows 11 (free trial of 14 days)) where the game will work fine as well. More info about that up here: https://www.paulthetall.com/parallels-desktop/
Notes:
Download the Origin Wrapper below and login with your Origin account. Then first go to your preferences of Origin and turn off “Origin Ingame” or the games will not launch properly. Then add battlefield 1942 with your CD serial of Battlefield 1942 (yes, your old CD key) and this will add the game into Origin. Download it –> when it is installing a few minutes, just quit Origin and login again. Now you will see it is ready to play! Click play and have fun.
Multiplayer: Yep, works great too using LAN. Download Hamachi and create a network with other guys and join each others LAN games and have fun!

It is the only first person, team-based action game that places you in the midst of a raging WWII battlefield with 35 “machines of war” under your control. You?ll pick up the sidearm of your choice and get behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles, ships, and aircraft to go to war on land, sea, and air during some of the most famous and pivotal battles of the Second World War.
