Battlefield 2142 for Mac!

Awesome news for the Battlefield fans! Battlefield 2142 (DVD version) has been added to Porting Kit and works awesome using the profile offered by battlefieldsingleplayer.com! This way you can play offline single player! Tested the game for 30 minutes without issues! Enjoy!

The year is 2142 and the dawn of a new Ice age has thrown the world into a panic. The soil not covered by ice can only feed a fraction of the Earth’s population. The math is simple and brutal: some will live, most will die. In Battlefield 2142™, players choose to fight for one of two military superpowers – the European Union or the newly formed Pan Asian Coalition -in an epic battle for survival. Armed with a devastating arsenal of hi-tech weaponry, including assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will also take control of the most lethal vehicles known to man.

Because online services are down, in order to play the game you need to add a profile to your documents folder. Download the profile offered by battlefieldsingleplayer.com, up here… and move the Battlefield 2142 profile folder to your documents folder. Now when you launch the game you will have the option for offline play and can play single player games and normally also multiplayer using LAN or Hamachi (not tested).
