Beyond a Steel Sky for Mac

For retro fans Beneath the Steel Sky, is an golden oldie adventure game. This game had a remake 3 years back, but at that time not “port-able” yet. Now 3 years later, I am happy to announce to have Beyond a Steel Sky for Mac in our game database.

The game works quite nice on Apple Silicon Macbook Pro. The game menu is a bit sluggish in the start but when changing the settings to “Medium” (plus restart or the game will be a black screen!!), it will improve. Also in-game it might be a bit of sluggish time to time (cinematics), but very very playable. I am enjoying this one, hope you as well!

Basic Portingkit Install Instructions GOG games:
1. Download the Beyond a Steel Sky “offline backup setup” file(s) into your download folder.
2. Always read the “notes” of the game description first for additional steps!
3. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click “Install”
4. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder
5. The installation of the game will start, run through the install wizard.
6. After installation, exit the installer (don’t run launch the game).
7. Porting kit will say it has finished successfully.
8. Go to your local library tab and select the game and click “play”!
9. Enjoy the game!
