Caribbean! for the Mac!
Caribbean! is a mix between an economic strategy game and an open-world RPG, set in the pirate era of the XVII century’s Caribbean region. The game is based on the Mount & Blade: Warband engine. I tested the game on my Nvidia 640M iMac for 2 hours where it works great!! While on my Macbook Air with Intel HD 5000 it doesn’t work at all! The game (yes the game itself) looks (as a M&B Warband liker) very promising, but it has still a lot of bugs and missing features. Things what the developers promised to still fix very soon including adding loads of extra features (expect a lot of updates). With this in mind you may take a look at the game. Really liked the land battles, played dozens of them where I let the bandits chase me behind the horse while my Musket Squads fired upon them :P Anyway, take a look at the video below and decide yourselves. The game is added to the Portingkit now!
Simply download the Portingkit (if you don’t have it already) and go to the library –> server tab and select the “Caribbean!” game and click download. If you don’t own the game yet the Portingkit can direct you to the game page where to purchase it and download the setup/download file into your download folder. When you clicked “no” and were directed to the game page, you have to click “download” again and then click “yes” so the Portingkit will install the game for you. After installation the Portingkit will say the installation was done successfully. Then go to your “local” tab where you can select the game and click “play”!
