Bigfoot 4×4 Challenge added to Porting Kit

I had a wrapper for this game for a long time, and now it is also added to Porting Kit. This free game offered by freegamepick.com, gives you some arcade racing, using 2 types of racing: capture the flag and Sprint racing. I played it a bit, and it is quite fun for a free game, so really recommend it :) have fun!

Metal Slug Series for Mac

Although the Mac version of Metal Slug is not “officially” supported, it is available for Mac and Linux on GOG.com. I checked them myself, and they just work great! Simply buy the game from GOG.com and download the game at the “game goodies” (see screenshot on game page, check link below) and extract and play. Enjoy!

The same counts for: Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3 and Metal Slug X. All 3 games have a Mac and Linux version as well.

I made a game page for the series up here…

Crosscode released for Mac

Crosscode released for Mac

This retro-inspired 2D Action RPG might outright surprise you. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.

CrossCode is all about how it plays! Take the best out of two popular genres, find a good balance between them and make a great game. That’s what CrossCode does. And it works pretty well. You get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs. During the fast-paced battles you will use the tools you find on your journey to reveal and exploit the enemies’ weaknesses and at the same time will be able to choose equipment and skills for a more in-depth approach in fighting your enemies.

Boulderdash Remake added to Porting Kit

In this free game port Boulder Remake (aka Boulder Dash Remake) you play as a person in a cave who must find all the diamonds in the cave and then make it to the exit before time expires. This is much easier said than done. It is a very difficult game. There are many obstacles to overcome. Some of which are: Balls can fall on you. Items can case after you. And of course there are barriers. If the 16 already made caves are to hard, modify them or make your own with the built in cave editor.
