Lifeless Planet for the Mac!

For tonight I ported Lifeless planet for Mac, which has very good potential. Lifeless Planet, itself works great, but there is an issue with saving…..I will try to find a fix for that, but meanwhile you need to play in one row or don’t shut down the game :P. I created a video of the gameplay below. Enjoy!

Simply download the wrapper below, unzip it, get the game from GOG.com and install it into the Wrapper and set the “LifelessPlanet.exe” file as start executable and play! For more detailed info, check the video below.

Lifeless Planet is a new 3D PC action adventure that puts players in the moon-boots of a volunteer astronaut on a one-way mission to a life-bearing planet far outside our solar system. But after a rough landing, the promise of a new Earth soon fades with the discovery that the planet he was to explore is now barren and inhospitable.

Front Mission Evolved for the Mac!

I managed to get the game Front Mission Evolved working quite nicely using the Steambuild1 Wrapper. I played 2 missions with my Nvidia 640M iMac and had no crashes or something. You do need a powerful Mac for this game and 512mb GFX card is a must have to play this game enjoyable. It’s quite a good game and it keeps you playing because of the storyline, and it is only $9,99, so it’s really recommended if you like action games! Check out the trailer below to learn more!

Simply download the Steambuild1 Wrapper and extract it (unzip) and make sure if you have Mavericks OSX you have set the correct security settings otherwise it will say the file is damaged or from an undefined developer. Then login into Steam with your account and get Front Mission Evolved from Gamersgate and use the serial to activate it in Steam. Then it will download the game and then play! Have fun!

The Cat Lady for the Mac!

Not my particular genre, thats why I played only 5 minutes of the game :P, but it worked fine that far, and WineHQ with its users tells me that it works just fine as well. They probably played the whole game already. Anyway, because of many requests, I made the wrapper available and now with The Cat lady on promo, it is wise to get it cheap now while the summer sale on GOG.com is still running.

Simply download Wrapper below, and extract it, and get the Windows game of The Cat lady on GOG.com and install it into the Wrapper as the video shows below. Thats it, have fun!

Susan Ashworth, known in her neighbourhood as the crazy Cat Lady, is a lonely 40- year old on the verge of suicide. She has no family, no friends and no hope for a better future. One day she discovers that five strangers will come along and change everything. But those five, “The Parasites”, are also the most ruthless, deranged and cold-blooded bunch of psychopaths the city has ever known. They will stop at nothing to hurt Susan. Unless, she hurts them first…

World of Tanks Release 9.1 Video Update!

Here a video of the gameplay on my Nvidia 640M iMac. I mentioned in the Wrapper update already about the gameplay, and here is the video to support it. I played 2 games in the video, and as you may find out the fps is a little bit dependent on the map as well and it also shows that the game doesn’t crash or freeze anymore after a battle on my iMac. So sit back and enjoy the video!

World of Tanks Wrapper Update!

World of Tanks 9.1 has been released with again some mayor GFX improvements luckily for us :) It seems that the latest Wrappers which I released last week doesn’t work anymore with the latest update, but the older Wrapper is working fine now again!

I had lots of internet issues at home so it took me 4 hours to get the update done. So sorry I am a bit later then I was planning. So finally at the end I tested the Wrapper on my Nvidia 640M and I was amazed by the speed. I even reached over 100 FPS in sniper mode and between 40-80 FPS average in game.  I was stunned! This because I never got those values on my Nvidia Mac. I don’t know how it is with Intel graphics Macs, but I am expecting same kind of results. I Played about 8 quick test battles. I was dead quite quickly with my bold approach…:P I had chosen some bad tanks to play with as well, because I heard regularly with full hits ” We didn’t even scratched them”, which was quite frustrating to hear!  Anyway, I am glad to announce the best performing WOT Wrapper until now! Have fun!

Battle Isle 4: The Andosia War for the Mac

Battle Isle 4: The Andosia War is a good old strategy game, just as his predecessors in Battle Isle Platinum, where most of the games in that serie works in Crossover (Wrappers are coming soon). Many people know the game Battle Isle from their childhood and love the game-play. Here is the chance to play it on your Mac!

The year is 345 N.A. on the planet Chromos, a civilization that once boasted a flourishing society ruled by the Council of the Wise. Power struggles, corruption, war – that is the reality on Chromos now and, with the Andosia War, the Battle Isle saga continues with new features to the series by bridging the gap between turn based and real time combat.

Download the Wrapper from the link below and when you have OSX Mavericks, you have set these settings first. Then install the GOG.com version of Battle Isle: The Andosia War into the Wrapper and set the start executable to bitaw.exe as the video shows below and launch the game and set your resolution and GFX settings. First time you launch the game resolution aren’t correct, so just quit the game and from that time it will launch in your native resolution normally. Have fun!

Fighting Street for the Mac!

I found this free Streetfighter “clone” called Fighting Street when I was looking for some indie games. Works great on as well low-end as on high-end Macs. Simply download and extract the zip file and launch the Wrapper to play. Then press enter to select the language and play. Controls are a,s,d,f,g + cursor keys. In the story mode you cannot skip speech, so you have to wait them out (good to know before pressing all the keyboard keys trying to skip it). Have fun with this free game! Checkout the trailer below for some impressions of Fighting Street.

The idea behind Fighting Street which can not be called a remake but a real parallel play that reflects the spirit of the ‘original Street Fighter, with its settings and characters, music and sound effects, the flavor of the 80’s and part of our childhood. However, it changes the alchemy transforming it from a normal beat em up to a beat em up action with strong colors and multiple styles. In fact the game is not the classic scrolling beat em up, but will boast very different missions, including platforming sections, and stage-style action. All this will be included in story mode with alternate phases in the two classic heroes Ryu and Ken.

Robocraft Wrapper update!

It looks like that the game RoboCraft is starting to advance quite fast in development. I got a message in my mailbox about a new release with “Air Supremacy” update which makes it possible to fly around the map with your own created machine. I also took advantage of the update to remove my account info :-P, and update it to the latest version. I also changed the icon a little bit to make it even better. In short, download this new baby and make a brilliant design and start blow things op!

Changes:
–  Update to latest version of the game
–  Improved icon

Dead Steel for the Mac!

Dead Steel is a free shootem-up in the way of Alien Shooter 2 reloaded and the free Alien Swarm. Dead Steel has kidnapped us into a familiar surrounding.  You have a lot of upgrading options. You can choose to upgrade many perks from a variety of properties. In the Co-op mode, you can enjoy the game with a friend. Check out the video below for some gameplay.

Simply download the wrapper and extract it with an unzip program like the free KEKA and play. If you have low end Mac 256mb GFX card, then I recommend to turn off “Particles” and “Gore” in the game options. If you want to play widescreen, that’s possible but you have to do some extra steps: Right-click the Wrapper –> show package content –> c_drive –> program files –> Media Design School –> Dead Steel –> open “AppSettings.ini” with a text editor and change the “ScreenWidth” and “ScreenHight” to your choice. Have fun!
