Of Orcs And Men for Mac

Another great game! Of Orcs And Men for Mac! Which is also of course tested in Catalina OS 10.15.x. tested the first level for the most part with no issues. Runs quite smooth on my 2019 Macbook pro :) The GOG.com version of the game works just fine when I tested it on Catalina, so that’s good news for Mac OS Catalina users. Of Orcs And Men for Mac is quite big (graphics) so a medium to High-end Mac is really recommended. Enjoy!

Game description:
In a world at war, the vast Empire of Men tries to extend its domination over the territories of the Orcs and Goblins, who are systematically persecuted, enslaved and massacred. Through this great role-playing game, lead a fearsome Orc warrior, and a Goblin master of assassination and stealth. You have been appointed to fulfill an extremely dangerous mission, deep in enemy territory: to kill one man… the Emperor himself. Fight your way through a terribly hostile world to reach the objective of your quest. Level up, learn and develop powerful skills, and finally free your people from the yoke of the Empire!

For Catalina users: Make sure SIP is disabled and that the Porting Kit app is located in your Apps/Application folder. If you want SIP to be enabled, I strongly recommend Crossover for now for the time being

Battlefield Heroes for Mac

“Was Battlefield Heroes not discontinued?”. Yeps, it is, but there is breathed in new live by the fan (Rising Hub) community! Isn’t that great news?! I used to play Battlefield Heroes regularly myself in those days and I always found it a shame that the servers were taken down. Now you have the possibility again with all features unlocked! Please note you need to make a new account on the rising hub website and follow instructions and create a character there before you will be able to login. Below some gameplay on my mac (my son is playing).

Install is simple:
1. Get Porting Kit or Crossover if you don’t have it yet.
3. When using Porting Kit in Porting Kit search the game  in the library –> server tab and click install.
4. After install (downloading a installer) , click play, which will launch up the launcher.
5. This will install the game which will take a while to complete. Meanwhile follow these instructions for creating an account.
6. After creating account login with your account in the launcher and start the fun!

Note! Because its a community server the server is sometimes down. In that case tray again later again.

Delta Force Series added to Porting Kit

Delta Force Series added to Porting Kit

As promised I added the GOG.com source for the Delta Force series in Porting Kit! This means for the following games Porting Kit have the GOG.com source: Delta Force including multi-player possibility, Dellta Force 2 also includes multi-player. Delta Force Land Warrior (multi-player), Delta Force Extreme (Single player only) and Delta Force Taskforce Dagger (Including Multi-player). All those games also have a cross-tie using Crossover (also for Linux!).

If you don’t own the Delta Force games yet, get them quickly on GOG.com! Have fun with those classics!

Singularity for Mac

Another great game port: Singularity! I added this game in Porting Kit and made a Cross-Tie for Crossover as well. I have to say that a good video card is required to play this game. So it may not work on low-end Intel HD Macs. The game is tested on a 21.5″  iMac with AMD Radeon GFX card (512mb), on that system the game can be played nicely on medium settings. You can imagine, that for lower end systems like Intel HD it most likely will play on low gfx settings and lower resolution.

In Singularity, you fight your way through an ever-shifting environment haunted with time ravaged creatures, while sudden time waves hurl you back and forth between 1950 and the present day. Use your wits and the perfect weapon – the Time Manipulation Device – to unravel the conspiracy on the remote island of Katorga-12.

Total Overdose for Mac

I found Total Overdose – A Gunslinger Tale in Mexico not added to Porting Kit yet, so I added this game and made a Cross-Tie for Crossover as well. This action game brings you to Mexico and let you fight off the drugs-cartel bad guys. Works great! Enjoy! The Original game page for the port you can find here…

In Total Overdose – A Gunslinger Tale in Mexico, you take control of Ramiro Cruz, a man on a crazy mission through Mexico’s drug-fuelled underworld. An amazing combat system keeps the action intense, mixing third person action with an incredible combo system for maximum carnage – and maximum replay-ability. Hilarious special moves and a huge amount of weaponry makes Total Overdose as frantic and fun an adventure as you could ever hope to find, and a red-hot latin soundtrack fits the action perfectly. This can be the perfect Latino gangsta sandbox game you were looking for all your life!

A Story about my Uncle for Mac

Another game has been contributed by Brainzyy: A Story about my Uncle for Mac. The game works very nice in Porting Kit and will be added to Crossover soon as well. I am working to make one component to work in Crossover as we speak and when that works the Cross-tie will be available as well.

A Story about my Uncle is a first person platforming adventure game about a boy who searches for his lost uncle, and ends up in a world he couldn’t imagine existed. Take help of your uncle’s mysterious inventions that let you jump incredibly high and far through beautiful scenery, uncover clues to your uncle’s whereabouts, and meet fantastical creatures that will help you on your journey.

Mirror Edge for Mac

Finally it’s there: Mirror Edge for mac! This awesome action game of EA Games, makes you a “Runner” on the skyscrapers of the city. The game works great in both Crossover and Porting Kit. Even on my low-end Macbook air the game works very nice when “In-game physics effects” are turned off in the graphical settings. Have fun!

Mirror Edge™ delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous.

The game works great in Crossover, so that program is advised to use. So if you haven’t Crossover yet, then get it up here and buy the program or if you want to test it first, for the 14 days trial.

Last week Army Men 2 for Mac was added to Porting Kit and Crossover, and now I am glad to inform you guys that Army Men – Toys in Space for Mac is added as well! Works great out of the box and works great as well in porting kit as in Crossover (a indispensable application to run aside Porting Kit!). Enjoy this Classic

Finally, proof that little green men exist in outer space! A horde of alien toys has invaded Earth. Now, they’ve enlisted the Tan Army to help them conquer the galaxy. All hope rests with one man, a green plastic soldier known as Sarge. Enter Tina Tomorrow and her battalion of Space Troopers. Joining forces with the Green Army, they freeze, zap, vaporize, and blast their way through the bathroom and into outer space with the hopes of destroying the diabolical alliance in the name of good.

Army Men 2 the sequel to the best-selling title Army Men, takes plastic toy soldier warfare into the kitchen, bedroom, front yard, and garage. Once again Sarge will lead his heroic Green forces into head-melting, plastic-body-part-exploding, combat mayhem; only this time the battle is for control of the kitchen sink!

ARMA 2 for Mac

Great news! I checked ARMA 2 for Mac in Crossover and it works great! Some games works alone or better in Crossover and other games work only in Porting Kit and not in Crossover. For ARMA 2 it counts that graphics are better in Crossover. For Porting Kit it counts there is a bit more performance, but there are some glitches there. So you can choose what fits you best. I even made a quick video for this one which you can check out below.

The 27th U.S. Marine Expeditionary Unit have been deployed to the former soviet country of Chernarus in this third installment in the series of award winning PC war simulators from Bohemia Interactive, creators of Operation Flashpoint*: Cold War Crisis and ARMA: Combat Operations.

The game works great in Crossover, so that program is advised to use. So if you haven’t Crossover yet, then get it up here and buy the program or if you want to test it first, for the 14 days trial.
