Great news! The last of the available Delta Force games: Delta Force Blackhawk Down Platinum for Mac and Linux is now added to Porting Kit and Crossover (For Linux and Mac). I tested the game for a bit including a multiplayer game using navaworld. The Delta Force series is really recommendation. I remember playing it in my youth :) Check the trailer to refresh your memory.

Delta Force Series added to Porting Kit

As promised I added the GOG.com source for the Delta Force series in Porting Kit! This means for the following games Porting Kit have the GOG.com source: Delta Force including multi-player possibility, Dellta Force 2 also includes multi-player. Delta Force Land Warrior (multi-player), Delta Force Extreme (Single player only) and Delta Force Taskforce Dagger (Including Multi-player). All those games also have a cross-tie using Crossover (also for Linux!).

Space action in Tachyon: The Fringe for Mac & Linux! Yep, its added in Porting Kit and Crossover (Crossover for Linux users)! I tested the game on my low-end  Macbook air and works great! Have fun with this one.

Adventure lovers may love this one: Dark Fall – The Journal for Mac & Linux (Linux using Crossover)! This adventure is rated quite high on GOG.com and especially the ones who like creepy games, this one may satisfy their needs. I myself am not really fan of those :P. I only played it for a few minutes.

Install is simple:
1. Get Porting Kit or Crossover if you don’t have it yet.
2. Then download the GOG.com setup files from Dark Fall – The Journal when you purchased/owned it.
3. Then for Crossover, simply download the Crosstie… and let Crossover do the work, or in Porting Kit search the game on the library –> server tab and click install.
4. After installation of the game, “exit” the GOG installer.
5. Click “Play” to start the game! Have fun!

If you like action games in the way of Unreal and Unreal Tournament, then FireStarter might be a nice one for you too. FireStarter is now ported to Mac and I added it to Porting Kit as in Crossover (Linux + Mac). The game is tested on my Macbook air so it should thus work on any Mac with OSX 10.8.+. Have fun!

In the year 2010, a malicious virus has infected a virtual reality machine, the FireStarter. The intruding program has caused the computer to malfunction. The rules of the simulation have been altered in a potentially deadly manner, with the player’s consciousness trapped inside. There is only one possible way to escape, by completing the game with a period of 48 virtual hours.

You like Lucas Art Action games? Well we have Armed and Dangerous for Mac for you! Armed and Dangerous is an action game with the mixture of Beyond Good and Evil and Chaser. The game works perfectly on my low-end Mac without any issues after playing it for about an hour. So if you love action with some fun and some changing gameplay, then this one might be a nice one for you. I added the game both in Crossover (Linux + Mac) and in Porting Kit, so take your pick ;).

Install is simple:

Great news! Hidden & Dangerous 2 for Mac is now ported. I added the game into Porting Kit and Crossover.
