North vs South for Mac!

Here a good example of a free GameTop game: North vs South, which is normally priced $5,99 on Steam, but free for Mac using the GameTop version in combination with the Portingkit! Of course the game doesn’t match the original game released by infogrames in 1989, but still it’s very enjoyable.

In the colorful strategy game NORTH vs SOUTH, you play the head of one of the armies of the Civil War. Your aim is to conquer American territory. This is a remastered version of the game that was released in 1990, with improved graphics and user-friendliness that are up to current standards. This free game is offered by GameTop and contains no trials, no payments, no malware/virus, no toolbars, no in-game ads or what so ever.

A cool feature of the game is Multiplayer so you can hook up with a friend using another Mac in your network.

I added the game into the Portingkit and you can play the game on your Mac. The game even works great on Nvidia iMac and Macbook air with Intel HD GFX card. I tested the game for about 30 minutes without problems. For the basic instructions for the Portingkit installation go here…

Silent Hunter 2 for Mac!

I ported and added Silent Hunter 2 to the Portingkit yesterday. I played the game for about an hour and did a few missions and got ass kicked :P Anyway I sank some ships with the deck gun and hit a ship with a torpedo though. All looks fine, as I have tested on my Intel HD 5000 Macbook air. At least I had my fun and anyone wants to do the same, here it is!
