Alien Nations for the Mac!

Here the re-port of the game Alien Nations Mac! I ported this game 3 years ago, but game page was already deleted with the previous makeover of the site. So here it is again, and I tested the game with the Gamersgate.com version (only $5,99) of the game and works fine. Alien Nations is a kinda Settlers 2 clone, but then with different characters. To get introduced by the game, check the game-play trailer below.

Simply Download and extract the Wrapper below and get the game from Gamersgate.com and install it in the wrapper by double-clicking the wrapper –> install windows software –> navigate to the Alien Nations setup file you downloaded from Gamersgate.com and install the game into the wrapper and play!

3 completely different nations on one planet – will it work out? Control the blue Pimmons, the wild Amazons, or the insectoid Sajiki and create your kingdom on the planet Lukkat. Direct the fate of a whole nation and make them control the planet. Be a founder of cities and ensure their growth and prosperity. Your nation requires not only food, it also wants to be kept in good mood through pubs, theatres, circuses and orgy dens.

Sudden Strike 2 Wrapper update!

This amazing strategy game is very popular on paulthetall.com, however the file is about 800 MB large and it was hosted on Filefactory which late gives only trouble. Besides that, the free download takes a few hours to download. I found an alternative file host which will do the big file trick for the time being before the new paulthetall.com application gets launched (that will make all those big wrapper downloads unnecessary). So, for the ones who gave up when they saw the long download time, here a re-chance to download this amazing game! Have fun!

Changes:
– Updated Wineskin version
– Much faster download speed on new file-host
– New paulthetall.com branded Icon

Anomaly Defenders released for the Mac!

GOG.com released another Mac game today called: Anomaly Defenders. Anomaly Defenders is the follow-up of the game Anomaly Warzone Earth which was awarded back in 2011 with the strategy game of the year award!  You have one squad that you direct through a field of enemies (with really varied abilities; some can only attack you when you approach them at a certain angle, others will block your weapons or use the powerups that you deploy against you) to accomplish your mission. For every enemy you take down you get powerups that you can deploy against the next one, and money to upgrade your troops. Anomaly Defenders is 40% off on GOG.com for the next 3 days, so take advantage of it. Have fun!

Anomaly Defenders is a fast-paced Tower Defense game where attacking human troops can damage and destroy your defenses. You have to react and counterattack enemies on the battlefield at all times. Each time you start a campaign, the unique tech-tree technologies can be tailored to your needs. Killing humans is easier due to 8 upgradable towers and special functions: repair your towers, make them go berserk, sacrifice them in explosions that are harmful to nasty humans, and use other tricks. This is the final battle against the humans. For the Hive, Commander!

Z the game for the Mac!

Many people waited for this moment to have the digital re-release of “Z“, and GOG.com did it! Unfortunatly the game is only for Windows, so thats why I ported it even on the same day of the release to the Mac! The game works great, even on Intel Graphics Macs! Played 2 levels without problems and had loads of fun! Check out the video tutorial below for some game-play.

Simply download and extract the Wrapper, buy the digital game on GOG.com. Then doubleclick the Wrapper –>  install Windows software –> navigate to the Z setup file of gog.com –> install the game (it will gave a couple of error messages on the end, but thats no problem) and then click exit. Now when you doubleclick the Wrapper the game will launch and have fun! The only think I noticed is that in the game menus when you click the buttons it only reacts when clicking on the top part of the button, but if you know this then this isn’t a problem at all, Ingame it works fine.

Fans of this classic strategy title are in for a real treat! Everything is in here from the terrific comedy cut scenes to the frantic game play, making this the definitive version of Z. Under the command of General Zod, it is your job to take control of chain smoking, foul-mouthed, abusive, alcoholic robot-grunts, whose main purpose is to battle it out on different planets of the universe. That is, if they’re not currently crashing the ship they’re on!
