Command & Conquer Remastered for Mac!
On many requests and also because I was testing those C&C games after all :P we added Command & Conquer Remastered for Mac to Porting Kit as well. Command & Conquer and Red Alert defined the RTS genre 25 years ago and are now both fully remastered in 4K by the former Westwood Studios team members at Petroglyph. Includes all 3 expansion packs, rebuilt multiplayer, a modernized UI, Map Editor, bonus gallery of unreleased FMV footage, and over 7 hours of legendary remastered music by Frank Klepacki. About the Port:
The game is based on DXVK, so both Intel as Apple Silicon Macs can enjoy the game and play it, when you at least are on Mac OS Catalina or higher. Performance on my Apple Silicon is great! I played a dozen of missions…you know how it goes, you get hooked when playing :P and even tested a multiplayer game with someone who kicked my ass (overran my base with a dozen recon bikes!)!!! Anyway, have fun!
Install Instructions:
– Click “Install” (Then next, next, you know the drill).
– Porting Kit will Install the Steam port.
– After install of the port, click exit to finish the installation process.
– login into Steam (add the Steam serial if you just purchased it) and download and play the game.

hey Paul, porting kit is super smooth. how were you able to play multi-player? I see no servers live. I tried the Tiberium Technologies patch but having trouble installing it via Porting Kit on Mac. It gives an error code A-2147024891.
Can you help me run the installer as an admin via Porting Kit?
Forums suggest “the error code corresponds to 0x80070005 which translates to E_ACCESSDENIED. VC++ can’t install because either the TT installer of VC++ installer is missing a permission. If you can, try running the installer as Administrator.”
Super cool, thanks a lot! Can we do something to play on higher resolutions? I saw Windows people playing Red Alert 2 on modern resolutions — would be a great upgrade.

Any idea how to get the map editor to work? I can’t seem to get it to start from the launch screen.
