Crusader Kings 2 port back in Porting Kit!

Good news for the Crusader Kings 2 fans! The producers dropped support for the game ages ago (up to Catalina Mac OS 10.15), and now is available on GOG.com free of charge! Simply create a GOG.com account if you haven’t, and claim the free game! You might say, what’s the catch for this free game? Well that’s not hard if you look at the game… It has tones of DLC’s/Expansions and other stuff. That my friends, isn’t free… So the basic game is free, if you want extra, then these expansions needs to be installed.

Can we install the DLC’s/Expansions as well in the port? Yep, using the “more” –> advanced tools –> install mod feature, you can easily install any mod/patch/DLC/expansion/whatever into the port! Where can I find these expansions/DLC’s etc. when I purchased that? Under your Main Crusader Kings 2 game in your GOG library (see screenshot below).

Basic Portingkit Install Instructions GOG games:
1. Download the Crusader Kings II “offline backup setup” file(s) into your download folder.
2. Always read the “notes” of the game description first for additional steps!
3. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click “Install”
4. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder
5. The installation of the game will start, run through the install wizard.
6. After installation, exit the installer (don’t run launch the game).
7. Porting kit will say it has finished successfully.
8. Go to your local library tab and select the game and click “play”!
9. Enjoy the game!
