Fallout 4 for Mac

With great joy I announce Fallout 4 for Mac in the Porting Kit! The game seems to work fine on the Apple M1 Apple Silicon Chip Macs as well! I tested the game on my high-end Intel Macbook Pro 2019 and works quite decently! I will post a video of the gameplay today as well in this article. I Played Fallout 4  for about 30 minutes without real issues. You do need to adjust a small setting in the fallout4.ini to fix the mouse input which is also described in the port description how to easily do that.

Fallout 4 also work for  M1 Apple Silicon!!

  1. Just a note on using Mods (which requires a Bethesda login from within the game):
    – the alt-Key doesn’t seem to work for keyboard input
    – switch to English keyboard-layout BEFORE starting Steam/Fallout
    – use Shift-2 to enter the @ key… beware that -, y and z may have a different location when entering your password
