Firestarter for Mac and Linux

If you like action games in the way of Unreal and Unreal Tournament, then FireStarter might be a nice one for you too. FireStarter is now ported to Mac and I added it to Porting Kit as in Crossover (Linux + Mac). The game is tested on my Macbook air so it should thus work on any Mac with OSX 10.8.+. Have fun!

In the year 2010, a malicious virus has infected a virtual reality machine, the FireStarter. The intruding program has caused the computer to malfunction. The rules of the simulation have been altered in a potentially deadly manner, with the player’s consciousness trapped inside. There is only one possible way to escape, by completing the game with a period of 48 virtual hours.

Dynamic gameplay is focused on RPG elements. To beat the game, the player is offered 20 types of different weapons. Additionally, you can also upgrade various skills of the characters making the gameplay unique and original every time you pick a different character.

  • Unique gameplay, tooth-grinding action
  • 6 unique characters to choose from
  • 16 levels in 4 worlds
  • Over 30 types of enemies (including demons, techno-monsters, and symbiots)

The game works great in Crossover, so that program is advised to use. So if you haven’t Crossover yet, then get it up here and buy the program or if you want to test it first, for the 14 days trial.

Download the Porting Kit up here… or when you own Crossover, this Crosstie…
