  1. Hi Paul,
Happy New Year! Hope you had some amazing holidays!
I’m writing to you about the Port Royale 2 port. Every time I try to run it I get hit with the “could not find translation files” error. It’s been a known error since the game came out.

I tried implementing the solution from this link: https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=24726 , but I don’t know how to modify the source code on my wrappers. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

  2. Hi, I updated the port, please delete the old port and reinstall and check if it works again.

  3. Hi Paul,
Thank you for your reply. Sadly I did what you said and I get the exact same error again. I deleted reinstalled the game and nothing. I even changed the operation system from Windows 7 to XP and still nothing. I wonder what might be wrong?

  4. As a sidenote, when I click on the in game error it says: Unable to run “WalExtPr2.dll”. I hope it helps
