Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 (Master Collection) for Mac

Although there is a separate port for Metal Gear (MSX version) I made another port for the Master Collection version, which includes also Metal Gear 2 (MSX). For me these (especially Metal Gear 2) are all time golden oldies. I found it amazing that they could put such an intelligent good graphical game of about 6 hours gameplay on a 360kb size disk… a jpg photo is nowadays more than that…unbelievable. Those people were real artists.

About the Port:
The game is based on OpenGl, so both Intel as Apple Silicon Macs can enjoy the game and play it, when you at least are on Mac OS Catalina or higher. Performance on my Apple Silicon is great!

Install Instructions:
– Click “Install” (Then next, next, you know the drill).
– Porting Kit will Install the Steam port.
– After install of the port, click exit to finish the installation process.
– login into Steam (add the Steam serial if you just purchased it) and download and play the game.
