News about High Sierra Compatible Wineskin ports GOG.com.

As promised, more news about the High Sierra non-compatible Wineskin ports on GOG.com. I received the good news from GOG, that they will update their game ports (about 25+ games) which are at the moment not compatible for High Sierra. The “initial-tentative-don’t-hold-us-to-it ETA” could be before end of the month :) I added before the news was out already 9 High Sierra+ compatible game ports into Porting Kit, so you can play those games in High Sierra. The games are: Nox, Mob Rule Classic, Space Colony HD, Shell Shock 2, Icewind Dale 2 Complete, Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition, The Temple of Elemental Evil, and Lords of Realms 1 + 2. The Porting Kit ports will still be available if you want to use it instead of the Mac ports of GOG.com and ready for the near future.

Yes near future, because the GOG.com update will hold the dam for Wineskin only for a while, because when 10.14 arrives all apps needs to be 64bit and wineskin will be most likely at its end because development stopped ages ago. However! There is good news from us. We are building a new Wineskin like app which we will call “Prism” which will have a total new framework and 64bit and adapted to Porting Kit, loads of new and cool features and of course free for personal use :)
