Zoo Tycoon for Mac

On many, many request! It’s here… Zoo Tycoon  for Mac (CD version)! It was quite a search to find the right engine for the game, so I am happy to make the game available in Porting Kit for the fans. Make sure you have the CD/Image mounted when starting/playing the game. Played about 2o minutes without issues on my low-end Macbook air. Have fun!

Fallout New Vegas and Elder Scrolls Oblivion GOG.com Sources added to Porting Kit!

As promised we would add the GOG.com Source of Fallout 3 GOTY and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate and The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion as soon as we could. And the status is that we Added Fallout New Vegas Ultimate and The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion so far and we only need to do the last one Fallout 3 GOTY which we still want to add this week. New Macs in Apple Store!

Awesome new. Finally, finally Apple starts to get brains. They got rid of the Intel HD GFX cards in the iMac’s and the starter models gets an Intel Iris (which is not that bad) and basic systems are getting 2 GB VRAM AMD Radeon cards!! Yes! Gaming is finally getting affordable for the people who don’t have a big purse! I am waiting on Black Friday!

Metal Slug Series for Mac

Although the Mac version of Metal Slug is not “officially” supported, it is available for Mac and Linux on GOG.com. I checked them myself, and they just work great! Simply buy the game from GOG.com and download the game at the “game goodies” (see screenshot on game page, check link below) and extract and play. Enjoy!

The same counts for: Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3 and Metal Slug X. All 3 games have a Mac and Linux version as well.

Anno 1701 + Sunken Dragon expansion added to Porting Kit!

Awesome news! What about 6 months ago did not work in Porting Kit and only in Crossover, now does work with one of the latest Wine Engines. Yep, I am talking about Anno 1701 for Mac! The main game + The Sunken Dragon add-on are added to Porting Kit (one install). I tested it on my Intel HD 5000 Macbook Air, and works just great! Where are you waiting for? Get the game and start playing :)!

Alien Breed Trilogy for Mac

We added another trilogy game to Porting Kit and has been added to Crossover called: Alien Breed Trilogy. Alien Breed Trilogy Includes 3 items: Alien Breed: Impact, Alien Breed 2: Assault, Alien Breed 3: Descent. This Trilogy is a modern version of Team 17 comparing to the older Alien breed series. The game works very nice and I played a mission including bombing my own airport :P on my low-end Intel HD 5000 Macbook air, without issues. have fun!

Blazing Star for Mac is a scrolling shooter which was released in 1998 as the sequel to Pulstar. The game has lots in common with other space platform games in those days. Now it’s available for Mac again on GOG.com normally priced $5,99 but this week 50% off for $2,99. Have fun!

Players choose between 6 spaceships with various strengths, and join the endless war between the planets Remuria and Mutras. Players progress in Blazing Star through the game by shooting down enemies with split shots and charged-up attacks, and by picking up power up and bonus items. Breaking charged shots will change their attack type, and eliminating enemies with them will lead to high scores. Master all the shooting technics and aim for the highest score!

Fatal Fury Special released for Mac

You are a Mugen fan? You like street fighter games? Then Fatal Fury Special for Mac is game you will really like.  This game is released today on GOG.com priced $5,99 but now on sale for $2,99 (50% off).

This is a fighting game released in 1993, pitting 15 different fighters against each other. The cast includes the original eight characters from Fatal Fury 2, as well as three new characters (Billy, Axel and Laurence) and a new boss (Wolfgang Krauser).
