Once upon a Jester for Mac

When I saw Once upon a Jester on the free give-away on GOG.com I grabbed it immediately and created a port for it with succes. You can find it now in the Porting Kit database in the “All games” Section in the Porting Kit app. Best friends Sok & Jester devise a mischievous scheme to steal the Royal Diamond! To complete their master plan, they must start an improv theatre show and outperform every other act – including their rivals, Hofnar & Bok. Only becoming the best show in the kingdom will get them invited to the Royal Theatrical Spectacle in the Royal Palace, where the king keeps his precious gem.

About the Port:
The game is based on OpenGL, so it works both on Intel based Macs and Apple Silicon Macs, when you at least are on Mac OS 10.15.7 Catalina or higher. Performance on my M1 Apple Silicon (16GB) and Intel based Macbook Pro 2019 with AMD Radeon is awesome and played and tested it for about an half hour without issues!

Porting Kit GOG Install Instructions:
– Make Sure you have Porting Kit installed on your Mac
– Make sure you logged in into GOG integration in Porting Kit (GOG account tab -> Login):
– If not: – Make sure you download the “Offline backup setup files” of Once upon a Jester from GOG into your download folder.
– Search the game in “all games” or “GOG Source” database.
– Click “Install” (Then next, next, you know the drill).
– Porting Kit will Install the GOG.com version of Once upon a Jester
– After install of the port, click exit to finish the installation process.
– Click play to start the game!
