Origin version Red Alert 3 and C&C 3 are working again!
Great news!! It took a lot of troubleshooting, but I finally got the Origin version of Red Alert 3 + Uprising and C&C 3 Tiberian wars + Kane’s Wrath working again!! These titles are part of the C&C Ultimate Collection, together with Red Alert 2, C&C Generals and more and it would be a waste if you couldn’t play these games as well. So, I finally got them working!
In Porting Kit search the games in the database and install the two ports and start playing! I finished the Red Alert 3 campaigns and I am busy on C&C 3 Tiberian Wars as we speak! Have fun!
An important note is that for M1/M2 Apple Silicon Macbook Pro’s the game needs to be connected to an external monitor once to start up and to set the resolution to 1280×800 (which will be saved in the profile), then the game can be played without the external monitor from then on.

Any way to start it without an external monitor? Like creating an .ini file with the resolution pre-set?
I have the problem that the game only starts when I connect an external monitor. No matter what resolution I then set, as soon as the external screen is not connected, the game no longer starts. An error message appears about DirectX 9 not being installed…
I failed to install C&C Red Alert 3, it asked for path to exe of Origin, but it’s not there. On the other hand, I was able to install C&C 3 Tiberian Wars (asked for path to exe, found the Origin exe, etc).
Please look into this. Appreciate your help.
