Pharaoh – A New Era for Mac

With Porting Kit 6 we entered in a new awesome realm…the realm of D3D Metal…which is awesome for Apple Silicon Macs!! So let’s start rocking with Pharaoh – A New Era for Mac! Yes, that’s right, I thought to keep it a secret, but after uploading the port, it has been already downloaded 222 times (so far a secret) :P

About the Port:
This port only works for Apple Silicon Macs with Mac OS 14 Sonoma or Higher!! So intel users..I am sorry, it’s not working yet for you guys. However this might be changing in the near future with updated DXVK, but until then its for Apple Silicon based Macs only (WITH Mac OS 14 Sonoma or Higher). So Apple Silicon users, make sure to update your Mac OS ASAP to Mac OS 14 Sonoma. Oh and the port works great :)!

Porting Kit GOG Install Instructions:
– Make Sure you have Porting Kit installed on your Mac
–  Make sure you logged in into GOG integration in Porting Kit (GOG account tab -> Login):
–  If not: – Make sure you download the “Offline backup setup files” of the game from GOG into your download folder.
–  Search the game in “all games” or “GOG Source” database.
–  Click “Install” (Then next, next, you know the drill).
–  Porting Kit will Install the GOG.com version of Pharaoh – A New Era
–  After install of the port, click exit to finish the installation process.
–  Click play to start the game!
