Red Alert 2 + Yuri’s Revenge (Origin) for Mac are back!!!

Awesome news! As promised, I would bring back the Origin games and Ubisoft games and more with the new CX21 engine. And tonight past weekend I did a lot of preparations, and today I re-introduce the Origin version of Red Alert 2 and Yuri’s Revenge. Yes, the rest of the series are worked on as well, but I will introduce every Origin game separately day by day because I want it to be tested properly first.

So here we are :) I made a new video about the installation process and the settings you need to do in Origin itself. I tested and played Red Alert 2 Yuri’s revenge on my intel Mac 2019 on Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1 :) C&Cnet multiplayer support/integration will follow soon. I first want to add the rest of the series first. Enjoy the video and the game.

Origin Client install instructions:
– Get the C&C Ultimate collection cheap up here…
– When the install of the origin client starts it gives a white window for about 20seconds before it starts.
– After the login window appears (also takes about 10 seconds to appear) close it so install can finish properly
– When after install complete you log into Origin (takes 10 seconds to see the login window),
in the settings turn off “in-game origin”(app settings –> more –> in-game origin) before launching a game.

Game Description:
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 concerns the full-scale invasion of the United States by the Soviet Union. With all-out war taking place in American cities and seven nations to play as, you’ll have to choose which side of the conflict to enter: invader or defender.

  1. Perfect!!! Thank you so much! It works smoothly on M1 Macbook Air, the only issue is a stuttering sound. Do you have any tipps to fix that? Kindest regards, Richard
