Red Faction Armageddon for Mac

Another Classic game has been added to Porting Kit: Red Faction Armageddon for Mac! The game works pretty well on my Macbook Pro with AMD Radeon Card GFX card and played for about 20 minutes without issues. Red Faction®: Armageddon™ expands on the critically acclaimed, best-selling franchise with new, groundbreaking challenges. You are humanity’s last hope for survival. Will check the game also on M1 Apple Silicon, and reports will put back in this blog, and when works also another video tutorial with gameplay will be created as well.

Basic Portingkit Install Instructions GOG games:
1. Download the Red Faction Armageddon “offline backup setup” file(s) into your download folder.
2. Always read the “notes” of the game description first for additional steps!
3. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click “Install”
4. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder
5. The installation of the game will start, run through the install wizard.
6. After installation, exit the installer (don’t run launch the game).
7. Porting kit will say it has finished successfully.
8. Go to your local library tab and select the game and click “play”!
9. Enjoy the game!

Game Description:
Half a century after the Red Faction resistance and their Marauder allies freed Mars from the brutal Earth Defense Force, harmony on Mars is again threatened but this time by a lethal force shrouded in mystery. When the massive Terraformer that supplies Mars with its Earth-like air and weather is destroyed, the atmosphere turns to chaos, super-tornados and lightning storms engulf the planet. To survive, the Colonists flee to the underground mines and build a network of habitable caves.
