TinTin Reporter - The Cigars of the Pharaoh for Mac

It’s Monday, so lets start with a new game port! This time we added the port TinTin Reporter – The Cigars of the Pharaoh for Mac! Tintin and his faithful companion Snowy are going to experience some extraordinary adventures…After meeting Professor Sarcophagus whilst cruising the Mediterranean Sea, the famous reporter sets out in search of the tomb of the Pharaoh Kih-Oskh. A unique and innovative gameplay combining all the best elements of adventure and investigative games. A game that invites you to dress up as a detective/reporter: search, infiltrate to find clues and solve puzzles with the help of investigative dialogue sumptuously enriched with breathtaking video sequences.

About the Port:
The game is based on D3DMetal, so it only works on Apple Silicon Macs, when you at least are on Mac OS 14 Sonoma or higher. Performance on my M1 Apple Silicon (16GB) is very nice and played and tested it for a while without issues!

Porting Kit GOG Install Instructions:
– Make Sure you have Porting Kit installed on your Mac
– Make sure you logged in into GOG integration in Porting Kit (GOG account tab -> Login):
– If not: – Make sure you download the “Offline backup setup files” of TinTin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh from GOG into your download folder.
– Search the game in “all games” or “GOG Source” database.
– Click “Install” (Then next, next, you know the drill).
– Porting Kit will Install the GOG.com version of TinTin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh
– After install of the port, click exit to finish the installation process.
– Click play to start the game!
