Trine for Mac
Great news for the Trine lovers! We added the 10.15.x and higher supported version of Trine (Original version) into Porting Kit! This is not the enchanted version, but the Original/classic version which is also included in the GOG.com version of the installation. I tested the game for a while and it works great! So if you own the game from the past and want to give it another go on your recent Mac OS, then Porting Kit is the way to go!
Basic Portingkit Install Instructions GOG games:
1. Download the GOG.com Trine offline backup setup file(s) into your download folder.
2. Always read the notes of the game description first for additional steps!
3. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click: Install
4. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder
5. The installation of the game will start, run through the install wizard.
6. After installation, exit the installer (don’t run launch the game).
7. Porting kit will say it has finished successfully.
8. Go to your local library tab and select the game and click: play
9. Enjoy the game!

Trine is a physics-based action game where three characters combine their powers to devise clever solutions to challenges created by hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics where each character’s different abilities and tactics can be used to invent new ways to overcome obstacles and save the kingdom!

Wow, great news! I have been waiting to be able to play Trine again since macOS went 64-bit only with Catalina. It works great, thank you!! Is there any chance we could also get Trine 2 to work? This one was the best of the series imho…
