Ubisoft Connect client broken in Wine (again!)
Quick heads up. I have set the Ubisoft Connect sources (16 game ports) in maintenance mode (=not installable) because of another broken Ubisoft Connect game client, as a result of an update of Ubisoft. Yeah that’s the horror of the game clients in Wine which updates their clients regularly with the possibility to break it… So yet again Ubisoft Connect! In this case the login screen wouldn’t appear anymore, leaving you staring at your screen hoping for a login screen to appear (which won’t come). Thanks Ubisoft (again)!
Tip is to try the steam version of the game instead when available when you cannot wait.
Anyway, this requires another fixed engine to repair that. Keep an eye on the blog for updates…
