Under the Island for Mac

You like 2D exploring adventures? Then I have some good news for you! Because we added Under The Island for Mac for you in Porting Kit! Step into the role of Nia, a newcomer to Seashell Island – and join forces with local girl Avocado to investigate an ominous fate – the island’s destined to sink beneath the ocean! Explore colorful regions, battle strange creatures, and uncover the ancient mysteries that could threaten your new home.

The game is DXVK based, so it should normally also work on the most recent Intel Macs as well (haven’t tested all GPU’s though). It is at least tested and working great on Appel Silicon Macs! Have fun!

Basic Portingkit Install Instructions GOG games:
1. Download the Under The Island “offline backup setup” file(s) into your download folder (or use the GOG account integration).
2. Always read the “notes” of the game description first for additional steps!
3. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click “Install”
4. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder
5. The installation of the game will start, run through the install wizard.
6. After installation, exit the installer (don’t run launch the game).
7. Porting kit will say it has finished successfully.
8. Go to your local library tab and select the game and click “play”!
9. Enjoy the game!
