Welcome to the “World in Conflict” for Mac game page. This page contains information + tools how to port World in Conflict so you can play it on your Mac just like a normal application using Porting Kit (free), Crossover or Parallels Desktop (Virtual Machine with Windows 11). Crossover and Parallels desktop are commercial software and have a 14 day trail to see if this application fits your needs. If the game works not as attended or in your liking on Porting Kit, I really advise to use one of the 2 commercial alternatives.
If you don’t own the game yet, get World in Conflict from GOG.com which is DRM free there and runs out of the box. Click on the links mentioned here, create an account using the signup in the top bar on the GOG.com website and buy the game. You automatically get when creating an account over 14 free GOG games (+ some dlc’s) can be added to your account so you have nothing to loose, only to receive!
Alternatively there is also Parallels Desktop (a very easy to use Virtual Machine with Windows 11 (free trial of 14 days)) where the game will work fine. More info about that up here: https://www.paulthetall.com/parallels-desktop/
World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is a true genre-bender – merging elements of strategy, first-person-shooter and action games – that effectively carves out a new “Action-Strategy” genre in gaming – a genre that has proven to appeal to all kinds of gamers, from action junkies to first-person-shooter enthusiasts to strategy purists.
