World of Tanks on Parallels Desktop 3 times faster then the Mac version!

As a game porter I have seen and tested thousands of games in the past decade. Some of them I still play regularly. One of them is World of Tanks. I ported the game a decade ago and played it a lot then, also with high frame rates with over the 100 FPS. Then a “native” port came out where the frames are quite bad on my Apple Silicon Macbook Pro with frames of about 25-40 fps and regularly down to 15 FPS in some levels. That irritated me a lot when that happens (I want to play without lagging!). So I tried to play the game using Parallels Desktop and guess what! It boots faster and I had frames of between 80 and with spikes 140 FPS (depending on level and on low settings)!!

Yes, thats right! I thought I had to buy the latest Macbook Pro with M4 to improve the crappy performance, but with Parallels Desktop I can wait at least another year buying a new Mac! Will make a video soon about the difference, but first you have to do with a screenshot. So if you like World of Tanks just as much as I do then get Parallels Desktop and start play with high FPS!
